I've always had a deep love of books. From the time I was 3-years-old and named my cat Harold after Harold and the Purple Crayon, I knew books contain the best answers to life’s questions. After a career reading books to kids as an elementary teacher, I am dedicated to a career writing books for kids as a full-time author.
I enjoy spending time with my hilarious husband, three charming children, and one precious pup named Pearl on the same road where I grew up.

I write in many picture book genres (non-fiction, informational fiction, lyrical, humor, STEM, SEL, etc.) and middle grade novel-in-verse with the intention of the reader feeling seen, loved and happy! If what I create means something to a child, there is no greater good or purpose. I hope to make heart-to-heart connections page by page.
